Carey, Danis & Lowe is looking for a class representative to pursue an action against CCC Valuescope ("CCC") regarding its valuation process, which is used when determining the value for a vehicle that has been declared a total loss after an accident. Based upon the investigation to date, CCC will obtain independent appraisals as part of the valuation process, but will then ignore those appraisals and assign a different valuation to the vehicle. There also exists evidence that CCC may be systematically undervaluing vehicles through other means, which is also under investigation.
